Everything you need to know to enroll your student
All of the following must be submitted for admission to Monarch Prep.
Note: Applications are considered complete only when all required documents have been submitted. Completed packets are reviewed in the order they are received. The full application and evaluation process can take 8–10 weeks depending on the funder's approval timelines.
After all required documents are submitted, your completed packet will be reviewed in the order it was received.
Each prospective student receives an initial assessment covering academic and developmental skill levels and behavioral needs. The behavioral assessment requires funder approval, which can take up to 4 weeks. Monarch will send appropriate consent forms and financial agreements before the assessment begins.
The assessment is typically spread across multiple appointments:
Once the assessment is complete, Monarch meets with the parent/guardian (and student, if applicable) to review findings, make recommendations, and develop a Treatment and Academic Plan. The plan is then submitted to the funder for approval, which can take up to 15 business days.
If placement at Monarch Prep is deemed appropriate, the student completes a trial period on campus. The first 3 days are offered free of charge while the student adjusts to the school routine and staff. If mutually agreeable, acclimation continues for up to two weeks at private-pay rates. Once the trial phase is complete, a contract is presented and the student is fully enrolled.
